This Leelbox review is of an android box that is a force to be reckoned with. It’s Octacore processor makes it snappy between the menus and apps. I did want to make note in this Leelbox review that the OS seems to have Kingbox tagged in a few spaces, but I’m guessing the developers just built the box and had used an already built OS. I see nothing wrong with this as the components inside are amazing. I’ve found it to be faster than the Firestick and for those that don’t know how to jailbreak, this box is jailbroken and rooted straight from the get go. You already have Kodi and can easily install any other app you would like. With it being rooted it may even be possible to install it’s own custom OS, though I do not believe any have been made or will be made for it. You are able to use Netflix along with pretty much any other app or game from the Google Play Store. The homepage can also be customized so you can show your downloaded apps as you want.

Also in this Leelbox review I wanted to cover the internet and it’s browser as they are quick and function as they should. You can even mirror your phone to the Leelbox with no problems except that video for Netflix or other stream services do not appear on the box. My guess would be some form of copyright protection, however on the box itself it appears HDCP is disabled as for the brief time I show you around on the video above you will see it did not stop me from showing certain apps. This leads me to believe it’s some sort of protection built into my Samsung Galaxy S8.

My only issue with this box is the remote, but that can easily be solved with the Cetus app on the app store for my phone. The remote itself is nice quality, rubber buttons, plastic as with most remotes, but the navigation can be a bit of a fuss. You can use the directional buttons to navigate or press the bottom back looking button to pull up an onscreen cursor, you can hold a direction and go. The problem I have is with the keyboard, if I had gotten the keyboard remote it would be fine, but using a keyboard with directional buttons is very time consuming. It wouldn’t have been as bad if the Cetus app keyboard worked. I believe this is an issue with the app itself as it was force closing, but there may be other apps out there that do work, along with have this additional functionality. I also could not get voice control as that would also force close Cetus. Those are the only issues I found with the box and I do not believe that is even the fault of Leelbox. I would recommend getting the Leelbox with the Keyboard Remote and then this box would be unstoppable.
